One of the founding partners of Hunter McCorquodale Inc., Ken currently serves as head of the HMI division within Simmlands.

Ken co-founded Hunter McCorquodale with colleague Stephen McCorquodale in 1997.  The mission of the company was to become a leading developer and distributor of personal life, accident and disability solutions for “hard to insure” situations.  Prior to this, Ken spent 3 years as an independent advisor, specializing in the sale of individual disability insurance.  He previously held management positions in several insurance companies, most recently Aetna Canada from 1986 to 1993, where he was Vice-President, Individual Disability Insurance.  In this role he was responsible for individual disability insurance product line management, including product development, pricing, marketing, underwriting, administration, and claims. 

Ken’s previous experience includes management positions in individual product development at New York Life of Canada and Confederation Life.

Ken holds the FSA (Fellow, Society of Actuaries) designation and has a combined 35 years of experience in the field of life and disability insurance.
